Mike Sexton Makes it at the WPT Borgata Play Down Day
This could be the year that Mike Sexton gets to take home a World Poker Tour title. Sexton made it to the play down day in the WPT Borgata Poker Open. Out of the 27 remaining players, Sexton managed to have the 19th largest stack. There are so many players eyeing the top spot with a prize of $733,000. Even if they don’t get first place, every player left on the field can take home $15,000.
The current champion, Olivier “livb112” Busquet, survived the third day of the Borgata Poker Open. However, he was knocked out on Wednesday Morning. He took 25th place and received $15,000. Last year, Busquet bagged the $925,000 cash prize as well as the title of the World Poker Tour. As of the time of writing, Sexton in in the bottom of the list with only 760,000. Brandon Novena is leading the pack with 5,040,000.
