Daniel Alaei Grabbed the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic Title

The Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker classic has earned another winner. Daniel Christopher Alaei grabbed the coveted seat surviving the rigid battle against 328 players. He won an enormous prize of $1.4 million on the said event.

He’s known specialty is the cash games in the NLHE wherein he amass a whopping $3.7 million dollars all through out his poker career. He owned 2 WSOP bracelets to be proud of and also had been successful in winning the $10,000 World Championship Omaha Hi/Lo 8-or-better tournament. He has a record of cashing in 18 events in the WSOP which gain him $1,533,917 take home pay.

Poker after Dark Present the Best of the Poker World

The staffs of Poker Productions have been doing extremely well lately with their show in NBC called Poker after Dark. The show now emphasizes a theme called Railbird Heaven wherein the gathered players will play with prop bets plus higher stakes in the game.

FBI Concludes that Online Poker is subject to Deceit and Manipulation

A prominent official of the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) has affirmed that internet poker is not saved from schemes and manipulation in the web.

“There are several ways to cheat at online poker, none of which are legal,” Shawn Henry, assistant director for the FBI’s cyber division, inscribed in a correspondence to Representative Spencer Bachus of Alabama.

The Unbridled Winnings of Brian Hasting

College student and known poker player Brian Hastings will be taking his final exam for Economics this coming Monday. He will surely try to study more for this subject because it’s the last exam for the semester but he will definitely have time to celebrate his unprecedented win in the online playing arena wherein he made history.

He shared his experience with Kristy Arnett – host of Card Player TV for their new Poker Buzz edition – regardless of his demanding schedule between school and at Full Tilt. The Future of American Online Poker

It’s been a long time since the UIGEA legislation suck out the demands of poker players in the United States to have online gambling legalized. The PPA or Poker Players Alliance has been pushing reforms and bills in order to erase the negative feelings poise by the UIGEA. The UIGEA has been discriminately grouping poker with other kinds of gambling which is not fair because poker is more a skill game compared to other online games which are purely based on luck.

But at present it seems like that the change people look forward since 2006 has been started even though not in the same way as they have expected.
